I am a computer science and electrical engineering student from The Netherlands. I'm doing an Embedded Systems Master at Eindhoven Technical University. I did my Bachelor's on the Radboud Universiteit Nijmegen.
I have worked at a number of companies, including NXP and MiPlaza, which are both parts of Philips. Surprisingly, I did not work on lighting. Instead, I worked at a 2.4 GHz WLAN receiver for a custom IC at MiPlaza. Before that, I did a project at NXP Semiconductors that involved power distribution for logic cells inside an IC. The resulting simulation method allowed for accurate modeling and visualisation by making use of Spice as a simulator.
